Jane and Stuarts BIG DAY

I think everyone who came and witnessed Jane and Stuart become Mr and Mrs Butters will agree with me when I say 'WOW', It was a truly magical day and everyone was kept entertained throughout the whole wedding thanks to Jane and Stuarts attention to detail (I would say mainly Jane's), they had literally thought of everything to keep their guests happy.
The day started with a beautiful ceremony in our Lapwing Suite, with not a dry tear in the house they swiftly moved into our Marquee and Garden area to enjoy Champagne Cocktails and a selection of Canapés whilst being serenaded with the beautiful voice of  'Daniella Gallagher Entertainment'
Meanwhile Poppins Parties & Events were busy transforming the Lapwing Suite into a stunning set-up for the wedding breakfast. They chose grey chair covers and tablecloths with plum organza bows, and centrepieces which consisted of 3 various sized vases with floating candles, simple and elegant. Jane and Stuart gave their guests Yankee Candle favours for the ladies and a cheeky cigar for the gentleman.
Finshing the room off was the show stopping cake from Hilarys Cakes and Bakes , only people who have been lucky enough to taste a cake by Hilary will understand the true taste sensation she produces, YUMMY!!
Gavin Haworth and his assistant Dave photographed the newlyweds, their family and friends whilst a caricaturist captured his own images with his pencil.
Once all the guests had found their seats and had enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal prepared by our talented executive chef Mark Swanton the Bride and Groom had a little trick up their sleeves.......much to their guests surprise 2 'waiters' from Singing staff burst into song and dance and had the whole room up singing and dancing with most of them joining a large conga line out of the room and around the hotel.
So with the guests fed and watered it was time for the evening party which was hosted by Stuart Michaels. The enjoyed a Smoke and Spice BBQ served by our kitchen team in the beautiful sunshine and followed by a delicious Cheese Cake with a lovely selection to taste ( I will give the groom his due for organising this one, well done Stuart). There was no excuse not to party at this wedding, they had The Party Project  provide the much loved photobooth (who doesn't love a selfie pic with silly accessories), flip flops were given to us ladies who can't handle a pair of heels and hangover kits for those who definitely would of felt it the morning after.
A special thank you to Duncan Fisher and Sonara Parker for making the bride Jane look absolutely stunning.
A wedding which will never be forgotten.
They handed me a thank you card with the nicest words in and a gorgeous Pandora bracelet which I haven't taken off since, thank you Mr and Mrs Butters for a memorable wedding and I look forward to seeing you after your return from Zanzibar.
A HUGE congratulations from myself, Ross and the team at The Longlands Hotel.
Lots of Love, Katie
xoxo
